  • Broken

Why did you say you loved me only to break it off two days later? You told me you loved me but the love was for her, not me. I love you. I told you I'd be here for you until I die. Forever. It hurts.

  • The Poem for Timmy

It's senior year and here we are,
    High school's almost done,
    Reality hits so suddenly,
In the midst of all our fun,
    A name that sounds familiar,
    Reminds us life's not fair,
    As graduation nears we know,
That one will not be there,
As we sit in our last classes,
As our last few days pass by,
As we're walking down the hallways,
    We stop and wonder why,
The question runs across our mind,
When we see that empty chair,
As we continue on we know,
That one should still be there,
Too young to miss this moment,
The best days of our lives,
    The tragedy leaves us sobered,
As the tears run from our eyes,
    No one deserves this heartache,
    No one deserves this pain,
Of a life that's left unfinished,
    Never be to lived again,
So as we stand to graduate,
As we end our final year,
Let's remember who cannot stand with us,
Remember the one who's not here.
  • Say a prayer

    Say a prayer for me,
    I am frightened and alone,
I need your help as I set out,
To a world that is unknown,
I am not sure where I'm going,
And I do not know the way,
So say a prayer for me,
When next you kneel to pray,
Say a prayer to guard and keep me,
And to save me from my fears,
So that I can face the heartache,
And the trials through the years,
A prayer to keep me going,
When I feel like giving up,
To keep me going step by step,
When I feel I've had enough,
Say a prayer for me tonight,
    As my spirit wanders free,
When next I run across your mind,
    Say a prayer for me
